Petra Engineering Industries of Jordan Selects Epicor Manufacturing Solution
February 2008 - Epicor Software Middle East, the fully owned subsidiary of the US-based Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), the leading provider of enterprise business software solutions for the midmarket and divisions of Global 1000 companies, said today that it is continuing its successful expansion into the high-growth Middle East enterprise resource planning (ERP) market with the announcement of Petra Engineering Industries Co. of Jordan, a leading designer and manufacturer of commercial and industrial air conditioning equipment and other HVAC products in the Middle East, selecting Epicor’s leading ERP solution for manufacturers.
With the addition of Petra, Epicor’s regional presence and customer base expands in the make-to-order and mixed-mode manufacturing ERP domain, bringing its total customer base in Jordan to over 36 supported by Epicor consulting and implementation channel partner Business Consult Limited.
With the assistance of Business Consult, Petra will implement the Epicor solution across its business operations. Petra selected Epicor for its ability to provide an ERP solution that is an excellent fit for the Company’s manufacturing operations that will enable them to reduce costs while increasing efficiency. Additionally, Epicor’s solutions will enable Petra to drive growth across the value chain by targeting better utilization of resources, which is expected to increase the company's bottom-line.
